Who worked, when — for real.

The roster says who shouldbe there. Time & attendance says who actually was. Staff clock in and out from their phone, breaks track themselves, and every timesheet shows the gap between what was scheduled and what was worked — before it becomes a payroll surprise.

Clock in

At the store, not the car park

Staff clock on from the same phone they check their roster on — one tap. If you turn on the location check, Orbit confirms they're actually at the store before the clock starts, so “I forgot to clock in” and “I clocked in from home” stop being your problem. Set the radius per store; leave it off where it doesn't fit.

Breaks that track themselves

Start a break and it runs on the lock screen — a live timer in the Dynamic Island, so no one has to remember when they went on or guess how long they were off. Break minutes come out of paid time automatically, so the hours that reach payroll are the hours actually worked.

Timesheets

Scheduled vs actual, side by side

Every shift becomes a timesheet that shows what you planned against what happened, with the difference flagged — the extra forty minutes, the early clock-off, the shift no one clocked into at all. A manager approves it (or fixes it first), and once approved it locks. No quiet edits between sign-off and pay.

Missed clock-ins don't just vanish

Someone forgets to clock in, or clocks out an hour after they left — it happens every week. Orbit surfaces those as exceptions for a manager to resolve, with the scheduled shift right there to compare against, so the timesheet gets fixed on the spot instead of reconstructed from memory at the end of the fortnight.

Approved hours become pay

The moment a timesheet is approved, those exact hours flow into Orbit Payroll — award rates applied, penalties counted, ready to reconcile against your Xero pay run. Clock-in to payslip, one connected line.
