The tools that run a venue — the roster, the timesheet, the team chat — were scattered across a handful of apps that never spoke to each other, and most were built for people who have never worked a Saturday night. We started Operator Systems to put them on one system, on the devices people actually use: a phone in a team member’s pocket, a laptop in the back office, the same numbers in both.

How we build
Built on the floor, not in a boardroom
Every feature starts with a real shift problem — a roster that had to change at 6am, a timesheet that didn’t match the hours worked, a message that never reached the closer.
Take what you need
Run rostering on its own, or the whole platform. Each system works by itself and works better together, so you can start with one and switch on the rest as you grow.
The floor gets a say
Staff see their shifts, swap them, clock on and get paid right — without chasing anyone. Managers get the tools without leaving the floor. Owners see it all without being on site.
Your data stays yours
Every business is isolated at the database level, pay and personal details are locked behind explicit permissions, and conversations stay with the business when someone moves on.

Operator Systems Pty Ltd is an Australian company. We build and run Orbit OS ourselves, we set up every new business by hand, and we answer support from inside the app. If something isn’t working, you talk to the people who built it.
