Privacy Policy

Orbit Workforce is a staff operations app for businesses and their teams, provided by Operator Systems (operatorsystems.ai). This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Your data lives in a secure database hosted on Supabase.

What we handle

Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to run your workplace's operations:

• Account information. Your name and email address, used to sign you in and identify you to your team.
• Employment and work data. Your shifts, timesheets, leave requests, and availability for the workplace you work at.
• Location. A single GPS reading (latitude and longitude) captured only at the moment you clock in or clock out, and stored on that timesheet. The app does not track your location at any other time.
• Push notification tokens. A device token so we can send you shift reminders, approvals, and other alerts.
• Device and usage diagnostics. Basic device and app information used to keep the app reliable and secure.

Purpose

How we use your information

We use your information solely to operate the app for your workplace: building and viewing rosters, clocking in and out, sending and receiving team communications, processing approvals (such as leave and shift swaps), and delivering notifications. We do not use your information for advertising.

Visibility

Who can see your data

Your information is visible to the managers of your workplace and to your organisation. Data is tenant-isolated, meaning it is scoped to your organisation only and is not shared with other organisations or businesses. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Service providers

Data processors

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the service:

• Supabase. Hosts the database, authentication, and file storage that power the app.
• Expo push notification services. Deliver push notifications to your device.

These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.

Your data, your control

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Go to Profile and tap Delete account, or use the delete option on the join screen if your account has not yet been linked to a workplace. Deleting your account removes your profile and the data associated with it.

Your rights

Access, correction, and deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your account and associated data, as described above.
