Pay stays with the people allowed to see it.
The owner sets awards and rates and sends to payroll. Managers approve hours, and see wages only if their role allows it. Each person sees their own hours and payslips.

Does Orbit run the pay run?
Not yet. Your pay run happens in Xero or Employment Hero. Orbit prepares the hours, prices them under the award and sends them there. Orbit’s own pay runs are in development.
Which awards does Orbit know?
The Hospitality Industry (General) Award and the Restaurant Industry Award, with rates kept current from the Fair Work Commission.
What if someone’s rate is below the award?
Orbit holds each person’s rate at or above their classification minimum and keeps a higher agreed rate. Anyone paid without an award is flagged.
Can I check before anything is sent?
Yes. Every send starts with a review of the approved hours by person, and anything that would be refused is shown with its fix.
