Review labour across every store, for any week
Orbit OS compares rostered hours, worked hours and labour cost for every store, for any period — including franchised stores that share labour, which is on by default — with dollar figures shown only to roles allowed to see wages.

What head office controls
- Compares rostered hours, worked hours and labour cost store by store for the period chosen, against the previous period.
- Sees store-level labour cost and hours for franchised stores that share labour — on by default — never a person’s pay.
- Wage visibility is a permission: a role that may not see pay sees hours, not dollars. The check runs on the server on every read.
What the franchisee manages
- Sees their own store’s labour live, from the same figures head office sees.
- Keeps their payroll. Head office sees store totals, not the franchisee’s pay run or anyone’s rate.
The workflow
How it works, step by step.
- 1Pick the period
A week, a fortnight or a custom range. The dashboard reads approved timesheets — the same records payroll reads.
- 2Read the store table
Approved cost and hours for each store, side by side, with the change against the previous period.
- 3Open a store
The timesheets behind the number: approved by the manager, priced server-side by the engine under Australian awards. Nothing on the screen is estimated in the browser.
- 4Act upstream
A store running over is visible beside the others; the roster template and the publish rule for that store are where head office changes what happens next week.

Does head office see what franchisee staff are paid?
No. When the franchisee shares labour — on by default — head office sees the store’s total labour cost and hours. Pay rates, payslips and any per-person figure stay inside the franchisee’s own payroll.
